Registrations are surging for the 25th DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR in Shanghai.
Over 1,600 flooring and floor technology manufacturers from 20 countries will gather from July 26-28.
The carpet sector will be a prominent feature with 2 dedicated halls hosting over 400 companies.
Hand-picked carpet buyers from the US, Europe, and the Middle East will also attend.

Registrations for visiting the 25^th edition of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR proceed at high speed since the opening of the online platform. Thousands of professionals from China and all over the world have marked their calendar to be in Shanghai from July 26-28 and meet with over 1600 flooring and floor technology manufacturers coming from more than 20 different countries.

Carpet sector has historically been a large segment of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR and, in this edition, it will be no different. Two dedicated halls totaling over 50,000 square metres gross will host over 400 companies that cover everything in the carpet production industry; from residential and commercial carpets, woven and machine-tufted carpets, hand-made carpets, wall-to-wall carpets, carpet tiles, mats, to carpet raw materials and carpet production technology.

Iran, an important carpet production hub in the world, will return to the show with a national pavilion, supported by Kashan Chamber of Commerce and organised by Pouyan Pasargad, which will host 8 renowned high-end carpet producers– Beheshti, Farahan, Iranian Palace Carpets, Leili, Noyan, Pouyan Pasargad, Shadrokh, Shokou Kavir.

“China is one of the world’s most ancient civilizations, same as Persia. According to found manuscripts, Persian had exported wool carpets to China since 1600 years ago. Persian Carpets were always an ornamental part of palaces, manors and significant places all over the world. In past decades, high quality machine-made flooring with oriental and modern patterns have been added to this art-industry. This year, we are organising the Iranian pavilion at Domotex asia to exhibit and showcase exquisite carpets and rugs from Persia. Revival of Chinese and Persian bonding cultures is our main goal and we believe that the elegant products we offer, are befitting Chinese people, who always love kneading with art, beauty and culture,” Mahmoud Tavalei - president of Iran Machine-made Carpet Producers Association and vice-president of Kashan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said.

Other 5 Iranian companies - Almas Kavir, Nishaburi, Phoenix, Sadeghzadeh, Tamadon - will also exhibit adjacent to the country pavilion and, together with the pavilion, present the best of Made in Iran carpets at DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2023.

To enhance the experience and business opportunities for the carpet participants at the show, the organiser will host a group of hand-picked carpet buyers from the US, Europe and Middle East, organised in partnership with COVER Magazine of Hali Publications, the world leader media in the international rug and textile art market.

DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2023 is expected to emphasise its design-oriented concept with events that offer the opportunity to attract more professionals from the architectural and design community. CADEX SUMMIT – focusing on new trends in architecture and interior design, MATERIAL MATTERS – a display area curated by designers on the most innovative raw materials for the flooring production, CHINESE ORIGINAL CARPET DESIGN SHOW – an event co-organised with China Carpet Industry Association (CCIA) where 300 Chinese designers from 22 companies will compete for the hand-made carpet design of the year, are some of the design-oriented events scheduled to take place at the show this year.
