38 finalists for Innovations@DOMOTEX awards announced

DOMOTEX, the trade fair for carpets and floor coverings to be held January 14-17, 2016, in Germany has announced the 38 finalists for the Innovations@DOMOTEX awards. The innovations chosen by the jury reflect current and emerging trends for both residential and commercial settings, with sustainability as a major selling point across all entries.
While choosing the finalists, a lot of emphasis was also placed on products with a natural look and feel, whose textures, materials, motifs and surfaces take cues from nature, with individuality too remaining a key trend.
According to the organiser, the idea behind this special showcase is to lead interested trade visitors right to all the latest and greatest innovations as featured in the Innovations@DOMOTEX areas in textile and resilient floor coverings; parquets, laminates and applications/installation technology; and modern as well as handmade carpets segments.
