Aditya Birla promotes Sushil Agarwal to group CFO

Aditya Birla Group, a textile conglomerate based in India, has promoted Sushil Agarwal from the post of the CFO and whole-time director of Grasim Industries - an India based producer of viscose rayon fibre and a part of the Aditya Birla Group - to the position of the group CFO during the recent changes in its senior management team, according to media reports.
Confirming the development, Santrupt Misra, director - group human resources of Aditya Birla Group said, “Sushil Agarwal will hold the additional responsibility of group CFO.”
Agarwal has served as the CFO of Aditya Birla Nuvo prior to Grasim Industries. His competence has been recognised with the Business Today Best CFO Award in the category of enhancing competitiveness through mergers and acquisitions. (MCJ)
