Asahi Kasei doubles commitment to smart sustainability

Asahi Kasei has doubled its commitment to smart sustainability by bagging the Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) Innovation Institute’s gold level material health certificate. This new C2C certification is an important evolution of its sustainably designed stretch yarn programme, offering a dynamic and enlarged portfolio to the current Global Recycling Standard.

The company has also expanded its stretch yarn range with Roica Feel Good family of premium stretch that promises a new level of well-being performance, with feel-good comfort and freshness. "The Roica CF yarn delivers an odour-neutralising function that does not wash or wear out. Its active ingredient is locked in and only needs a modest percentage to work in any fabric matrix. This yarn is also a Hohenstein environment compatibility certificated yarn already, signifying at its end-of-life, it smartly breaks down without releasing harmful materials," the company said in a press release.
