Asian PTA prices inch down this week from low demand

In Asian market, selling offers for Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) showed weak outlook and prices went down due to weak upstream energy values and also from low demand.
During this week ending August 23, Asian selling offers for PTA declined by 0.83% week-on-week.
This week, average selling offers for PTA in F E Asian market went down by US$ 10/ton from its previous week and were quoted in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton.
In S E Asian market, selling offers for PTA too fell by US$ 10/ton week-on-week and were assessed in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton.
In the Chinese market, average selling offers for PTA declined by US$ 10/ton from last week, due to weak demand and stood in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton.
During this week ending August 23, Asian selling offers for PTA declined by 0.83% week-on-week.
