Asian PTA prices show downward trend this week

In Asian market, selling offers for PTA followed bearish outlook in this week due to which, prices went down from poor regional buying sentiments in the region.
Lower upstream product prices too supported the price decline.
Prices in F E Asian market were assessed at US$ 980/ton yesterday (Aug 28), lower by US$ 15/ton as compared to US$ 995/ton on Monday (Aug 25).
In S E Asian market, prices too decreased to US$ 1005/ton yesterday, as compared to US$ 1020/ton on Monday.
In India, prices showed similar trend and were quoted at US$ 1020/ton yesterday, lower by US$ 15/ton as compared to US$ 1035/ton on Monday.
