Weak downstream pulls down Asian PTA prices on Oct 30

PTA prices slipped in Asia on Thursday, 30th Oct due to weak downstream product prices in the region.
In F E Asia, prices went down by US$ 5/ton and were assessed at US$ 790/ton on Thursday, as compared to Wednesday, a decrease of 0.63 percent.
In S E Asia too, prices declined by US$ 5/ton or 0.61 percent and were quoted at US$ 815/ton on Thursday versus Wednesday.
In the Indian market, PTA prices also dropped by US$ 5/ton or 0.60 percent from Wednesday and were offered at US$ 825/ton on Thursday.
