Upstream price fall leads to Asian benzene slip on Dec 17

Fall in upstream energy prices and downstream product prices, along with weak downstream demand in the region, led to Asian benzene prices slipping yesterday (Dec 17).
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 620/ton yesterday, lower by US$ 40/ton or 6.06 per cent as compared to the prices on Tuesday (Dec 16).
In Japan, prices were quoted at US$ 625/ton Dec 17, down by US$ 40/ton vis-à-vis prices on Dec 16.
