Asian benzene climbs from downstream gains last week

Benzene prices climbed in Asia in the last week ended Nov 6 from gain in downstream product prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices expanded by US$ 25/ton or 4.24 per cent and were quoted at US$ 615/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices grew by US$ 25/ton and were spotted at US$ 620/ton in the last week, up 4.20 per cent as against its prior week.

In India, average prices went up by US$ 25/ton and were assessed at US$ 625/ton in the last week, an increase of 4.17 per cent vis-a-vis its earlier week.
