Asian benzene prices improve last week

Benzene prices increased in Asia in the last week due to higher upstream energy values in the region.
In Korea, average prices improved by US$ 40/ton and assessed at US$ 790/ton in the last week, a rise of 5.33 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In Japan, average prices went up by US$ 40/ton to US$ 795/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a hike of 5.30 per cent.
In India, average prices surged by US$ 40/ton and quoted at US$ 800/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an increment of 5.26 per cent.
