Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asia on Wednesday.
In Korea and Japan ethylene prices maintained steady trend due to mute buying sentiments.
In Korea, ethylene prices kept inert on Wednesday and assessed at US$ 1250/ton as compared to Tuesday.
In Japan, ethylene prices remained unchanged and recorded at US$ 1245/ton on Wednesday.
In NE Asia and SE Asia ethylene prices advanced owing to improved business inquiries in the region.
In NE Asia, ethylene prices soared by US$ 25/ton from Tuesday’s assessed level and secured at US$ 1330/ton on Wednesday.
In SE Asia, ethylene prices improved by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 1245/ton on Wednesday.
