Asian ethylene prices show mixed undertone last week

Ethylene prices displayed mixed movement in Asia in the last week.
In Korea, Japan and NE Asia, average prices jumped up due to product availability in the country.
In Korea, average prices soared US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 915/ton in the last week over US$ 890/ton in the previous week.
In Japan, average prices hiked by US$ 15/ton to US$ 900/ton in the last week in comparison to US$ 885/ton in the previous week.
In NE Asia, average prices climbed to US$ 965/ton in the last week as from US$ 950/ton in the earlier day, a growth of 1.58 per cent.
While in India, average prices declined by US$ 5/ton and finalised at US$ 895/ton in the last week, showing a fall of 0.56 per cent over the previous week, due to insipid market conditions.
