Asian propylene prices show mixed movement last week

Propylene prices remained firm in China and SE Asia in the last week due to moderate trading activity in the region.
In China, average prices kept unchanged at US$ 880/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices remained steady and quoted at US$ 770/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week.
In Korea, average prices declined by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 860/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a fall of 0.58 per cent due to lackluster buying interest in the region.
In Japan, average prices increased by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 845/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a hike of 1.20 per cent due to higher upstream energy values.
