Asian PX prices drop last week

Paraxylene prices plunged in Asia in the last week due to unfavourable market conditions in the region.
In Korea, average prices went down by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 925/ton in the last week, a reduction of 1.60 per cent compared to the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 935/ton in the last week, showing a decrement of 1.58 per cent over the previous week.
In Taiwan, average prices declined by US$ 20/ton and recorded at US$ 940/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week, a declination of 2.08 per cent.
