Asian PX prices rise due to higher upstream energy values

Paraxylene prices surged in Asia in the last week due to higher upstream energy values in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices improved by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 800/ton in the last week, an increase of 1.91 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 805/ton in the last week, showing an increment of 1.26 per cent over previous week.
 
In Taiwan, average prices edged higher by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 815/ton in the last week, registering a climb of 2.52 per cent from the previous week.
