Bangladesh aims to be developed by 2041: Minister

Aiming to become a developed country by 2041, Bangladesh is working consistently to increase the exports of its textile industry, said commerce minister Tipu Munshi at the ongoing Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show (DIFS). The international trade show is setting a new definition of smart fabrics in order to satisfy the growing demand of the buyers.

CEMS-Global and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) have organised the DIFS-2019 jointly. This year’s expo is taking place along with two concurrent exhibitions titled 3rd Dhaka Int’l Denim Show 2019 and 35th Dye+Chem Bangladesh 2019 International Expo.

More than 370 exhibitors from 22 countries from around the world are showcasing a diverse range of textile products that include the latest trends and technologies in fabrics, accessories, ready-to-wear and industrial fabrics, innovative and smart fabrics as well, said CEMS in a press release.
