Benzene declines in Europe & stays stable in US last week

Benzene prices declined in Europe in the last week ended Dec 4 from mute buying sentiments in the region. However, due to firm energy prices in the market, average prices were stable in the US.
In Europe, average prices contracted by US$ 5/ton or 0.78 per cent and were quoted at US$ 635/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices remained steady and were quoted at 230 cents/gallon in the last week, as against its prior week.
