Benzene stays stable in Europe, goes down in US last week

Benzene prices stayed stable in Europe in the last week ended September 11 due to firm energy in the market.
However, due to weak downstream product prices in the region average prices went down in the US.
In Europe, average prices were steady and were quoted at US$ 595/ton in the last week as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices drove down by 5 cents/gallon and were assessed at 205 cents/gallon in the last week, down 2.38 per cent as against its prior week.
However, due to weak downstream product prices in the region average prices went down in the US.
