Bräcker to introduce several innovative solutions at ITMA

Bräcker, a manufacturer of key components for ring spinning machines will introduce several innovative solutions at ITMA 2015 in Milan, Italy.
One important innovation it is showing is the Starletplus traveler, which even under challenging conditions like high humidity or aggressive fibres offers additional benefits.
“The traveller service life is prolonged by up to 50 per cent due to its improved coating and also shows a better resistance against corrosion,” Bracker said in a press release.
“These advantages result in lower maintenance costs in the spinning mill during the entire service life of the traveller, as the yarn quality values remain constant,” it added.
“The Starletplus is particularly recommended for viscose and CO/CV blends, dyed MMF fibres and special applications and is suitable for the entire yarn count range,” Bracker stated.
Another innovation to be presented at ITMA is the Berkol supergrinder with integrated Berkolising unit or an UV-treatment for automatic grinding of ring, roving and air spinning top rollers.
According to Bracker, the modular machine improves the grinding capacity compared to the previous version by more than 50 per cent.
Bracker further added that the Berkol supergrinder has a grinding capacity of up to 350 top rollers per hour and offers a storage capacity of 450 top rollers with 32 mm diameter.
“At the same time, the power consumption has been reduced by 10 per cent and has a touch panel for easy operation, with the user interface being multi-lingual,” the company informed.
Other products, which Bräcker will present at ITMA, include Titan and Orbit spinning rings, Pyrit and Zirkon travellers, cost saving maintenance tools, and the range of Berkol cots and aprons. (AR)
