The theme of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016, which will be held on May 12, is 'responsible innovation'. Topics like power of media, luxury beyond sustainability, fashion and politics, and future of fashion will be addressed at the summit.
Fashion stalwarts like Imran Amed, founder and CEO, The Business of Fashion, Marco Lucietti, global marketing director, ISKO, Brigitte Stepputtis, head of couture, Vivienne Westwood, and Michael Beutler, director of sustainability operations, Kering, are among many participating in the summit.
In partnership with ISKO, the Danish Fashion Institute will present the Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016 Denim Challenge, which showcases the best of innovative sustainable denim design from emerging fashion brands produced in denim with industry-leading qualities and techniques.
The Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016 is expected to attract over 1200 participants from the fashion industry including experts, NGOs, opinion makers, media and politicians. (HO)
