Actress and model Amber Valletta and Monocle founder Tyler Brûlé will host the Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2017 to be held in Denmark on May 11. They will join an already impressive batch of high-level names, who will take the stage at this year's Summit that aims to gain industry-wide commitment on the most critical issues facing our industry and planet.

Valletta, model, actress, entrepreneur and activist, founded Master & Muse, the premiere lifestyle brand for responsibly made, cutting-edge fashion. Valletta is committed to advancing environmental awareness and smarter consumption within an industry she understands from many different vantage points. She serves as a mentor for the CFDA's Sustainability Committee, is on the advisory boards for Fashion +, a Cradle to Cradle's fashion initiative, and the Environmental Media Association.

Brûlé, born in Canada, moved to the UK to pursue a career as a foreign correspondent. In 1996 he launched Wallpaper but sold his stake in May 2002 to focus on developing Winkreative, the full-service branding and design agency he set up in 1998 and chairs. This award-winning business is distinguished by its international focus, editorial authority and global reach.

The Summit will present a curated programme of keynotes and discussions and deep diving breakout sessions with leading voices who will share their experiences and commitments to inspire future action.

Furthermore, more than 100 top students that are part of the Youth Fashion Summit and 100 academics that are part of Educators Summit from leading international institutions will be gathered to give the next generation's perspective on tomorrow's innovations. (KD)
