The experts who spoke at the last show included the godfather of Denim—Adriano Goldschmied, Stefano Aldighieri, Beau Lawrence, Jean Hegedus, Maurizio Donadi, Tricia Carey, Andrea Venier, CarLucia Rosin, Ebru Debagg, Ani Wells, Dr. Dilek Erik, Dr. Naresh Tyagi and Neha Celly.
Adriano Goldschmied held two sessions. In the first session he talked about the new developments made in collaboration with the House Of Gold and Wiser Wash. The presentation spoke about the new developed sustainable fabrics including Wizard Fabrics and other washing innovations. In the second talk, Goldschmied spoke with all the core partners of Wiser Wash including Arvind Limited, Pizzaro SA, and Elleti Group where all shared their journey so far with Wiser Wash.
At the show, Aldighieri and Donadi also came together to discuss about the 'State of Retail in Apparel Industry' where they shared their thoughts on the upcoming and existing challenges for the retailers in the apparel industry due to the ongoing pandemic. They talked about the consumer behaviour and other factors leading to bringing a paradigm shift in overall attitude of consumers and their buying habits.
There was a great session on finding a connect between yoga and denim. Ebru Debagg and Ani Wells – both denim as well as yoga experts — spoke to Sandeep Agarwal and all three tried to find a connect between yoga and denim.
Beau Lawrence—founder of Ace Rivington and co-founder of Ace Gold Green, spoke about 'how can suppliers approach buyers during the pandemic for orders?' during the 1st edition of Denimsandjeans Virtual Show. It was an interesting talk which brought out some very interesting suggestions from him to the denim community to work upon.
The 2nd Denimsandjeans Virtual Show is to be held on October 14-15 under the theme 'Cloud Sourcing'. The show will cover the US, South America, and European time zones this time. The show is again expected to bring some of the big names as speakers and panelists, where they share their thoughts on new development and innovations happened in the industry and also the changes they witnessed during the pandemic.
