DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR & TISE enter into agreement

Asia Pacific flooring trade exhibition DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR and The International Surface Event (TISE), North America's flooring, stone and tile event, have entered into a mutual endorsement agreement.

“This partnership expands the reach of the events and establishes a strong global presence,” a press release from the organiser informed.

DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR will be held March 22-24, 2016 in Pudong, Shanghai and attracts almost 1,300 exhibitors from 38 countries and 46,000 visitors from over 100 countries.

International leading flooring industry brands such as Armstrong, Balta, Classen, Egger, Gerflor, Hanwha, Jaipur, KCC, Kronotex, Kronoswiss, Suminoe, US Floors, Wools of New Zealand take part in the show.

David Zhong, president VNU Exhibitions Asia said, “China has become an important market for the flooring industry's innovation and new product development.”

“DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR has been the proud platform on which global manufacturers can introduce those products to the world and partnering with TISE expands the reach of both exhibitions across the world's two largest economies,” he added.

TISE comprises of Surfaces, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas, and TileExpo and is the first industry event of the year in North America, offering flooring, stone and tile professionals the opportunity to experience the year's product introductions.

According to the organiser, no other show in North America has over 700 exhibiting companies, 375,000 NSF and every type of floor covering, stone and tile products to see.

“The networking has something for everyone, like education for architects, designers, retailers and fabricators and events for the emerging professional community, Canadian attendees and architects and designers,” they added.

Dana Teague, vice president of the design group at Informa Global Exhibitions said, “I am thrilled that DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR has chosen The International Surface Event as their North American partner.”

“We are delighted to be working with their leadership to jointly promote our events and the importance of the flooring industry,” Teague too added.

“This mutual endorsement demonstrates the shows' commitment to the flooring industry and its future growth and success,” she observed. (AR)
