Efi Reggiani to be honoured with AmCham Italy Award

Efi Reggiani is one of eight businesses which will be honoured this year with the prestigious American Chamber of Commerce in Italy (AmCham Italy) Transatlantic Award.
EFI CEO Guy Gecht and Dr. Ambrogio Caccia Dominioni, managing director, EFI Reggiani, will receive the award from US ambassador to Italy John Phillips on December 10, 2015 in Milan.
“EFI Reggiani, an Italy-based team that is part of EFI, is a leading innovator in textile printing and pre- and post-treatment technologies,” an EFI press release informed.
AmCham Italy selected EFI as one of this year's award recipients for its emphasis on international collaboration to strengthen and promote 'Made in Italy' excellence with EFI Reggiani's best-in-class textile technologies.
According to Efi, the EFI Reggiani team has seen substantial sales of digital and traditional textile equipment at recent US and Italian trade shows, and recently launched a new product, the EFI Reggiani Next aqueous inkjet textile printer.
EFI is being honoured alongside several distinguished co-recipients like Dow Chemical, IBM, Victoria's Secret, Adler Group, Carnelutti Studio Legale Associato, Gruppo Sofidel, Manifatture Sigaro Toscano and Sorin.
"We are honoured that EFI has been selected for this prestigious award because it highlights the great opportunities possible with American investment in Italy's renowned, high-quality industrial manufacturing sector," Gecht said.
"Our dynamic and innovative EFI Reggiani team is a key driver for EFI's growth, and it speaks of the broader importance of strong transatlantic business relationships," Gecht added.
The annual AmCham Italy gala event celebrates successful international commerce between the Italian and American business communities.
This year's event has the added significance of being both the 10th anniversary of the gala dinner and the 100th anniversary of AmCham Italy as an organisation.
EFI Reggiani comprehensive portfolio spans the company's original rotary screen technologies to the most advanced inkjet textile printers, pre-and post-treatment machines, and inks in the industry. (AR)
