Ethylene prices edge higher in US last week

Ethylene prices soared in US in the last week due to insufficient product availability coupled with strong demand in the region.
In US, average prices increased by 2 cents/pound and assessed at 24 cents/pound in the last week, a lift of 9.09 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices moved up by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 1130/ton in the last week, a rise of 1.35 per cent as compared to the previous week due to strong business activity in the region.
