Ethylene prices gain in US last week

Ethylene prices climbed in US in the last week despite lower upstream energy values in the region.
In US, average prices inched higher up by 1 cents/pound and quoted at 16 cents/pound in the last week, a lift of 6.67 per cent as compared to the previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices edged lower by US$ 10/ton and settled at US$ 1290/ton in the last week, a fall of 0.77 per cent over the previous week owing to absence of buying demand in the region.
