Ethylene prices soar in US last week

Ethylene prices edged higher in US in the last week on the back of tight product supply in the region.
In US, average prices increased by 1 cents/pound and recorded at 28 cents/pound in the last week, a rise of 3.70 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices advanced by US$ 40/ton and quoted at US$ 1240/ton in the last week, a lift of 3.33 per cent, as compared to the previous week due to improved demand trend in the region.
