Ethylene prices surge in Europe but plunge in US last week

Ethylene prices surge in Europe in the last week ended Nov 20 due to lift in buying interest in the region.
However, due to insipid market sentiments, average prices plunged in the US.
In Europe, average prices climbed by US$ 140/ton or a massive 17.07 per cent and were quoted at US$ 960/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices decreased by 5 cents/pound and were assessed at 20 cents/pound in the last week, down a steep 20.0 per cent as against its prior week.
However, due to insipid market sentiments, average prices plunged in the US.
