Europe best region, US best country for Zünd Systemtechnik

The United States is the highest-performing country and Europe remains the best region in terms of units sold for Zünd Systemtechnik, according to Rolf Köppel, segment manager, textile. With smaller batch sizes, shorter delivery times and higher customisation, a trend of manufacturing partly moving back from South East Asia to Europe is being seen, he said.
Founded in 1984, the Switzerland-based family-owned business specialises in manufacturing digital cutting systems and modular cutting systems.
Zünd cutters can easily be integrated into existing software environments and the company is continually evolving its solutions and accommodating common industry file formats, Köppel said in an interview with Fibre2Fashion. (DS)
