European ethylene prices down as upstream energy bearish

Ethylene prices edged lower in Europe in the last week due to bearish upstream energy values in the region.
In Europe, average prices reduced by US$ 55/ton and quoted at US$ 1045/ton in the last week, a decrement of 5 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in US, average prices decreased by 2 cents/pound and assessed at 23 cents/pound in the last week, a fall of 8 per cent as compared to previous week due to subdued market sentiments in the region.
