The FESPA Awards 2016 has extended the last date for its annual awards to 5 February, allowing printers with an extra week time to submit their entries. The global print community will have the chance to vote for their favorite online entries from 10 February, the organisers said in a media release.

The FESPA Awards 2016 will include 15 categories like fine art print, decals, garment and wearables, interior decoration, special effect print, instore, outdoor and vehicle decoration, industrial and functional printing and signage.

Each category can be entered using either a digital print process, screen print process or a combination of print processes. Competition details and entries can be submitted on the FESPA website.

The award is aimed to celebrate innovative and excellent work from printers and identifying the creative potential of the global print community.

All shortlisted entries will be showcased at FESPA Digital 2016, taking place from 8-11 March at the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam and the entry with the most votes will be awarded the People's Choice Award at FESPA's Gala Dinner on 9 March. (NA)
