Higher energy values push up Asian propylene prices

Propylene prices increased in Asia in the last week due to higher energy values in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices stepped up by US$ 35/ton to US$ 835/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a rise of 4.38 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices soared by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 825/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an enhancement of 3.13 cent.
 
In SE Asia, average prices enhanced by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 740/ton in the last week, a rise of 0.68 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In China, average prices increased by US$ 40/ton to US$ 880/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after an increase of 4.76 per cent.
