Higher upstream energy rates push Asian propylene prices

Propylene prices surged in Asia in the last week due to higher upstream energy rates.

 

In Korea, average prices improved by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 790/ton in the last week as compared to previous week, a rise of 0.64 per cent.

 

In Japan, average prices moved up by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 780/ton in the last week, showing a hike of 0.65 per cent over the previous week.

 

In China, average prices marched higher by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 835/ton in the last week, registering an increase of 0.60 per cent from the previous week.
