Netherlands based DS Hollanders will show Colorbooster, a one step double sided printer capable of printing with a precision of 0.07 mm on 3.20 metre width on both sides at the upcoming FESPA in hall 1, stand G-150.

“A 100 per cent double-sided print is an innovation which we have succeeded in developing and which we expect will be a highlight at FESPA,” CEO Jacco Aartsen Tuijn said.

“Tested at four different customer sites on a range of polyester materials, we are not only opening the market for double-sided signage but also for double-sided home decoration and fashion” CTO Peter Hollanders too said.

“With dedicated ink amounts and profiling, we succeed in having exact the same colour on front and back and in mirror print, or on thicker materials in a two times positive print,” Hollanders added.

High quality coloured wovens, too expensive to produce in small quantities, discharge and resist print simulation or double sided curtains, can be printed and fixated in one step same as for double sided signage.

“These high quality double sided coloured fabrics are now achievable at much lower production costs and these products will be therefore made available for a much wider consumer group,” a press release informed.

According to DS Hollanders, the creative possibilities are endless when considering various materials, whether, teflon-coated, velour, lightweight or heavy-duty.

“Efficiency, high quality and an overall consistency are key principles in the development of all Hollanders printers, with an uptime of 90 per cent,” it added.

The machine is a water based ink printer, which delivers significant savings in ink waste, due to the print-head shower with less head purging.

Energy savings are realised by the built in climate control, while anti-ink mist systems ensures that the machine and environment will be free of ink mist.

The single sided Colorbooster 320 also to be shown at FESPA is designed to offer users, flexible modularity that can be upgraded in the field as and when needed.

“New at FESPA will be the possibility to upgrade to a stacked head configuration and a speed of 120 sq. metres per hour,” the company observed.

Supplied with customer changeable Ricoh Gen5 heads, the CB 320 is delivered with water based direct or high energy disperse dyes, typically very suitable for direct printing.

With a maximum roll weight of 250 kg, the CB 320 is particularly suitable for overnight printing and also features a unique built-in head shower auto-cleaning function and an open ink system.

Based in the Netherlands, Hollanders Printing Systems B.V. develops; designs and manufactures digital textile printers and machinery for disperse fixation and washing.

Hollanders is focusing towards the digital disperse textile printing processes, with textile machinery dedicated to the markets of soft signage, home interior and fashion. (AR)
