India Chem Gujarat to have buyer-seller meet

The fourth edition of India Chem Gujarat to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, next month will have a buyer-seller meet on the second day of the exhibition.

India Chem Gujarat 2015 is being jointly organised by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals , Government of India, along with Government of Gujarat, iNDEXTb and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The event to be held from October 28-30, 2015 would focus on specialty and fine chemicals, agrochemicals, dyes and colourants, and chemical technology.

The buyer-seller meet, to be organised by FICCI, in associaiton with Fibre2Fashion as a marketing partner, is aimed at fostering better business relation between buyers from the textile industry and sellers from the chemical industry participating in India Chem Gujarat 2015.

To be held on October 29, the meet will serve as a profitable medium for the manufacturers of fibre, yarn, fabrics, garments and home textiles as well as textile processing units to build new networks and interact with leading manufacturers of the chemical industry.

The meet shall serve as a perfect platform for buyers and sellers to have a face to face interaction with their business prospects and expand their market reach.

India currently accounts for only 3.3 per cent of the total chemical market with a market size of around $0.1 trillion in 2011. The knowledge-driven specialty chemical industry in India has been growing rapidly at 1.2-1.3 times of GDP growth rate over the last five years and currently stands at nearly $20 billion. Domestic demand of specialty chemicals is expected to follow an accelerated growth path, mostly driven by the strong growth outlook for end-use industries. The increased adoption of specialty chemicals and newer usages can propel the growth further.
