Customised solutions and 25 new product launches will be the highlight of this year's India International Textile Machinery Exhibition (India ITME 2016) to be held in Mumbai from December 3-8. A complete event for businessmen, professionals and students, the event will see nearly 1,000 live demonstration of machineries shipped from 38 countries.

New product launches at the 10th edition of the show include Spinit 3.0 E with optional Fancy Module device, Chenille Yarn Machine, Tread Winding Machine, and Super Auto Levellor Drawframe. These machines are drawing visitors from 91 countries as well as all textile hubs across India.

The overwhelming response and interest generated by this event is a testimony to India's importance as a market, opportunity for investment and joint ventures in textile and textile manufacturing sector, the organisers India ITME Society said.

Most modern machineries in spinning, weaving, processing, digital printing, garments, knitting, embroidery, testing, fibre and yarn, and green technology would be showcased in 11 halls at the once in four years event.

Another highlight of this year's event is that for the first time eight prestigious educational institutions have come together under one roof for presenting technical paper and panel discussion. Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (ICT), The Technological Institute of Textile & Sciences (TIT), Bhiwani, DKTE Society's Textile & Engineering Institute, Ichalkaranji, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), MIT Institute of Design, Pune, China Cotton Textile Information Centre, China, and The Textile Institute of UK are actively participating in the event.

For the first time, the exhibition is also having support and participation from Supporting Indian Trade and Investment for Africa (SITA), Geneva, Switzerland, and International Trade Centre, a division of United Nations which works towards promoting presence of Indian investors and trade in East Africa.

At the event, Gujarat and Karnataka state governments will promote textile parks and investment opportunity in their respective states to domestic and international delegates. Further, financial Institutions like HDFC and IDFC will ensure their presence to offer their financial solution to investors in this segment. (RKS)
