Innovative Apparel Show to present innovative ideas

The Innovative Apparel Show of Techtextil and Texprocess, the international leading trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens and for the processing of textile and flexible materials, is all set to present new clothing ideas and innovative processing technologies live in an unconventional way. The four-day trade global show will begin from May 9, 2017.

Young designers from the international fashion school ESMOD from Paris, France; ESAD College of Art and Design from Matosinhos, Portugal; Accademia Italiana from Florence, Italy and Hochschule Trier, a school specialising in fashion design from Germany will be presenting their creative works during the event. Based on the themes 'Textile Effects', 'Creative Engineering' and 'Smart Fashion', these designers will showcase their ideas and experiments at the show. These outfits will be made from technical textiles or functional apparel textiles that use modern processing technologies in the form of a fashion show every day.

The stage shows for the Innovative Apparel Show 2017 will take place twice daily during the event. A public prize will be awarded for the outfits that are presented during the catwalk. The audience will vote for the three 'Innovative Apparel Public Awards 2017'. (RR)
