Jiangsu Sunshine Group, a corporate giant dealing in textile and other industries based in China, will invest approximately $350 million to set up a textile factory in the industrial park of the city of Adama, Ethiopia in order to promote the country's textile industry, according to media reports.

The textile factory is expected to produce around 10 million metres of worsted wool fabrics, and approximately 1.5 million finished parts.

The factory will boost the country's economy by advancing its textile industry.

The project especially aims to help the country's economy during the current drought condition. (MCJ)
