German knitting and warping technologies manufacturer Karl Mayer will show its latest innovations at the upcoming ITMA Asia in hall 4.1, stand A-30.

Additionally and simultaneously, the company will host an in-house exhibition at its production facility in Wujin and a free shuttle service will be available between the two locations.

“A new development in the multibar jacquard machine sector for the lace segment will set the standard in terms of the cost/benefit ratio at our booth,” Karl Mayer said.

In the tricot sector, the company will show the HKS 2-SE, with a modern machine design; and its new Kamcos 2 platform with additional app functions and camera monitoring system.

According to the company, HKS machines with EL provide simple and rapid pattern change for producing short runs and development of new products offering limitless range of long pattern repeats and pattern designs.

Karl Mayer will also be exhibiting warping technologies for use in conventional direct warping as well as sectional warping.

“The warp-for-warp technique requires only a few packages, which saves space and offers maximum efficiency when producing short warps for product development, when using expensive yarns,” it added.

It will also be an innovative sectional warping machine for processing shirtings and cloths, which operates at an impressive level of productivity.

“The new warping machine improves efficiency in weaving preparation by up to 30 per cent and by up to 3 per cent in weaving compared to other models in the market,” the company stated.

Karl Mayer will also be showing the Size Box HSB with pre-wetting which offers savings in sizing additives, energy consumption during desizing, effluent loads, while improving uniformity of the size application.

In technical textiles, Karl Mayer will focus on lightweight construction and geotextiles and will present a range of impressive examples of applications and all other relevant information. (AR)
