Kipas, a Turkish denim producer, displayed its autumn-winter 2017-18 collection with Fulgar yarns at the recently concluded Denim Premiere Vision in Barcelona, Spain.

The collection was inspired by the classic denim colours - dark blue, deep indigo and all shades of black and grey and was the right balance between fashion, performance and sustainability.

Kipas' latest collection offered two exciting products- Peta and Lana in 10-12 ounce weight for women and 11-13 ounce for men.

Peta, a variety of denim manufactured using Q-Nova by Fulgar, the new 6.6 Nylon microfibre, made from 99 per cent regenerated raw materials was displayed at the fair. The Q-Nova makes the new Peta by Kipas extremely soft and light, making it comfortable against the skin.   The product is entirely eco-sustainable in both composition and processes.

Lana, Kipas's another variety which was showcased at the two-day event, uses EVO yarn developed by Fulgar. EVO is a biopolymer, is Oeko-Tex certified and is derived from castor oil seed grown in arid areas not given over to agriculture. Lana by Kipas provides breathability and wick-away moisture control and are denims perfect for every day wear and athleisure items.

Fulgar is the international leader in the man-made fibre market with the production and distribution of polyamide 6.6 and covered elastomers in the textile and technical sector. (HO)
