(BPKR), in Seoul, Korea.#
While Konica Minolta offered office equipment to Korean customers through local distributors, the company determined it critical to strengthen its sales and service operations by shifting to direct sales, especially in the PP market in which it sells digital printing and other printing systems. Hence, Konica Minolta established a dedicated PP sales company.
The company will mainly deal with import, sale, and after-sale service of digital printing systems including PP systems, and related consumables and parts.
With the establishment of the new company, Konica Minolta aims to offer support services for higher customer satisfaction and strengthen its operations in Korea, especially in Seoul, thereby securing the highest share of sales of digital printing systems on a unit basis in the Korean market. It also plans to launch products and services tailored to the needs of Korean customers by working in close cooperation with Kinko's Korea Ltd., an on-demand printing company and a member of the Konica Minolta Group, to promote the PP business and expand its operations in the Korean market.
