Kornit Digital, a worldwide market leader in digital textile printing, has announced that live demos of two highly successful digital textile printing systems, Kornit Storm Hexa and Kornit Breeze, will be held at FESPA Asia 2018, a leading expo for textile printing systems, to be held from February 22 to 24, 2018, in Bangkok, in booth number: hall 98, B10.

Amit Dayagi, product marketing manager with Kornit Digital, will hold a presentation titled “The third ecommerce revolution hits the textile industry” which will provide an overview of current market trends and how they drive the industry’s demand for digital production solutions. The presentation will be held on Feb 22, 2018, at the conference theatre in booth A15a.

The Kornit Storm Hexa, a member of Kornit’s mid-level technology platform, has been equipped with state-of-the-art inkjet technology, improving print quality and cost per print. With the six colours ink set and Kornit’s patented integrated pre-treatment system, it is the most advanced industrial direct-to- garment printing system for medium-size businesses.

A higher number of nozzles increases the productivity by up to 40 per cent over previous Storm configurations (over 150 light garments per hour in high productivity mode). It is also equipped with advanced productivity features such as a quick replace pallet mechanism, a 4 litre bulk ink system, an integrated humidity system and a backup power system for a quick and easy system start. It is ideal for colour conscious applications such as the production of promotional and brand related garments.

The Breeze is Kornit’s entry-level system. Compact and powerful, it is designed specifically for small to mid-sized commercial digital t-shirt printing businesses that are looking for instant success. The system can print up to 40 garments per hour; white and CMYK printing takes place in one pass. Due to Kornit’s affordable ink prices, the Breeze’s cost per print is typically just a fraction of other entry-level systems in the market. The Breeze has been recently updated with a new print software that increases the productivity, print quality, and ease-of- use of the system.

All of Kornit’s systems are based on the company’s unique NeoPigment printing process. Kornit’s own water-based inks work on a variety of fibres (natural, man-made and blends) and allow for inline-pretreatment. After printing, garments are cured with a standard hot-air dryer. (GK)
