The Maharashtra government has extended the deadline for textile operators to submit applications seeking 5 per cent subsidy, under the technology upgradation fund (TUF) scheme, till the end of June.

"Many textile unit operators could not upload their claims in time. To avoid any further inconvenience, the issued was raised before state Textile Minister Chandrakant Patil a couple of days back and he immediately issued extension orders," the statement said.
Halwankar said all textile operators are being informed about the extension in the deadline for submitting the application. (SH)
