Petronas Chemical methanol plant comes on-stream

A methanol plant of Malaysia based - Petronas Chemicals has been restarted after undergoing maintenance earlier this month.
“The methanol plant no - 2 was taken off-stream on January 12 for a turnaround and has been brought back on-stream on January 23, 2013”, a Petronas official told fibre2fashion.
The methanol plant located in Labuan has a production capacity of 1.7 million tons per annum.
