Turkish company Marteks Textile has renewed Com4 yarn licenses from Rieter. With this, Marteks has gained the right to continue selling its high-quality yarns under the trademarks Com4 ring and Com4 rotor. Marteks also received the World Textile Award for highest productivity on the compact spinning machine, as a part of this renewal.

Marteks has invested in the production of core, slub and blended yarns, to strengthen its pioneering position in the market. Research and development of new yarns and the mastery and quality monitoring of every single process stage – from fibre to yarn are factors for success at Marteks,  a company statement said.

Marteks, the first private spinning mill in Kahramanmaras, Turkey, spins daily 65 tons of cotton and manmade fibres to high-quality ring and rotor yarns on 60,000 spindles and 4,500 rotors from Rieter. The daily production of the in-house circular knitting facility amounts to 15 tons.

Rieter actively promotes the licensed yarns and their suppliers and publishes a direct link to the licensee on the Rieter website. (NA)
