Mohit Industries to expand textile unit at Kim

Mohit Industries Limited, a leading Indian manufacturer of fabrics and texturised yarn, is expanding its existing unit at Kim, near Surat.
The company plans to install eight texturising machines in a new building at its 2,50,000 sq ft facility in Kim.
For the purpose, the company has availed a sanction of term Loan of Rs 1,842 lakhs and cash credit facility of Rs 300 lakhs along with bill discounting under LC of Rs 100 lakhs from The Shamrao Vithal Co-operative Bank Ltd., it said in a filing to the BSE.
Established in 1991 as a family business, Mohit Industries today has annual production capacity of 21,000 mt of texturised yarn and 12 million metres of art silk cloth. (RKS)
