Mutoh to show inkjet printers at Heimtextil 2017

Wide-format printer manufacturer Mutoh is will show wide format digital piezo drop on demand inkjet printers at Heimtextil 2017, the trade fair for home and contract textiles, from January 10 to 13, 2017, in Germany, in hall 6, booth D30. Visitors will see Mutoh’s digital print solutions for interior deco printing, decorative fabrics, furniture fabrics.

At its booth, Mutoh will première the brand new ValueJet 1948WX, a 1900 mm (75”) wide high speed & high quality sublimation transfer printer offering print speeds, exceeding 100 square metres/hour.

Other showstoppers include the ValueJet 1938TX, a 1.9 meter (75”) wide direct-to-textile printer and the ValueJet 1638X, a 1625 mm (64”) wide high quality sign & display printer suited for a wide variety of durable and high quality interior deco applications.

The VJ-1948WX (1910 mm – 75.19”) is a newly designed sublimation transfer printer integrating a staggered 4 print heads setup and large built-in dual heaters enabling high speed printing and improved productivity. The 1948WX delivers a top speed of 117 square metres/hour. The printer is ideally suited for businesses looking for a high volume production printer for roll-to-roll digital transfer prints.

The new ValueJet 1948WX can be used for the digital production of high quality dye sub prints such as high quality personalised home textile decoration and deco fabrics, fast fashion, soft signage, textile banners and many more.

The VJ-1938TX is a 75" (1910 mm) wide dual staggered head printer specifically targeted at sampling of short run on-demand digital production of home textiles, upholstery, interior deco fabrics, fast fashion, swimwear, flags, etc. Utilising pigmented textile inks or direct sublimation inks and integrating a sophisticated fabric feeding, front & back tensioning and motorised take-up system for media rolls up to 100 kg, the printer delivers typical high quality production print speeds up to 40 square metres/hour.

The ValueJet 1638X (64” – 162 cm) printer, developed for sign & display applications, can be loaded with Mutoh Eco Ultra or Universal Mild Solvent (UMS) inks to deliver sellable production speeds at 720x720 dpi up to 36 square metres/hour.

For its UMS inks, Mutoh recently obtained a pan European Indoor Air Comfort Certificate, which makes the VJ-1638X ideally suited for the digital production of certified long term indoor deco prints such as wall papers, art deco papers, canvas, etc. (GK)
