Ethylene prices rebound in Asian & US markets

Ethylene prices for CFR Northeast Asia, CFR Southeast and US markets, except Europe, rebounded with vigour on September 9, when compared with prices prevailing last Wednesday.
Prices in CFR Northeast Asia grew from US $964-966 per metric ton to $985-990 per metric ton on September 2. CFR Southeast prices too followed suit and moved up from $1074-1076 per metric ton to $1090-1095 per metric ton.
Ethylene prices of FD Northwest Europe however broke the trend to fall from €845-850 per metric ton to €820-825 per metric ton, while ethylene prices of CIF Northwest stayed stationery at last weeks level of $1,000-1,010 per metric ton.
Prices of ethylene in the US markets which have been moving in the Northwards direction in the last few weeks, moved from US cent 28.880-29.130 per pound on September 3, to US cent 29.505-29.755 per pound, yesterday.
