Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) INDIA is organizing an India Pavilion at ITMA 2011, Barcelona, Spain which would provide an excellent opportunity for establishing business relationships with customers from all over the world.

ITMA 2011, Barcelona, Spain will take place in Spain during from September 22-29, 2011. ITMA has been recognized as the Olympics of textile machinery exhibitions since its inception in 1951. Held every four years, it has attracted leading buyers from all over the world and from all areas of the textile and garment industry.

Way back in 1955-56, the nascent Indian engineering sector was in the process of diversifying and restructuring the narrow export base of the industry and it needed a strong push - the EEPC INDIA (Formerly Engineering Export Promotion Council) was set up in 1955 under the sponsorship of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, for export promotion of engineering goods, projects and services from India.
