iMaster H2O dyeing unit meets demand of Bitex Textilwerk

“The Thies iMaster forms a key element of our 'green' strategy and was purchased specifically for dyeing cottons and polyesters,” he added.
The new iMaster H2O high temperature fabric dyeing machine offers spectacular low water consumption – starting at a liquor ratio of 1:3.7 for cottons, depending on the pick up of water on the fabric; a significant reduction in process times; and improved quality in both terms of appearance and elongation of the fabric.
It has been designed to handle a wide range of fabrics and knitted natural and synthetic fibres and blends, including viscose.
Operating as low as 90m/min ensures that dyeing, bleaching and rinsing is carried out with extremely low nozzle pressure for excellent fabric surfaces.
Fabric speeds, nozzle pressure and plaiter are all automatically synchronised and a new 'smart dose' system has been developed for significant improvements on levelness and dosing tones.
“We have already noticed a significant reduction in water and chemicals with the new unit and it compares favourably with the 1:10 and higher that we previously achieved with our other dyeing unit.”
“But it's not just water and chemical savings. We regularly receive requests to dye smaller batches” disclosed Christoph. “The new iMaster has a design capacity of 200 kg but we are able to work, constantly mixing batch capacities as low as 60kg, with no difficulty.”
The new iMaster also offers minimal rope lifting to ensure greatly enhanced shrinkage control and reduced rope curling for elastane fabric blends.
Working to its wash and dyeing design capacity of 50t/month Bitex is providing quality dyed textiles for an increasing number of leading prestige clientele in, for example, the automotive industry providing fabrics for special edition 'show cars'.
These include BMW, Porsche, Strãhle & Hess and the Mercedes Benz luxury Maybachs range. The company also provides a dyed technical textile for the Smart car bound for the US market.
